After dozens of VIP journalists got a first listen of Kanye West and Jay-Z’s joint LP Watch The Throne, the little people can feel like they’re part of the elite. The dynamic duo’s track “Otis” premiered today, and the spunky tune, produced by West, is named after the legendary Otis Redding and samples his song “Try A Little Tenderness”. Take your first real listen of the Throne below.

Kanye West & Jay-Z – “Otis”

This old school, Stax Records-inspired “luxury rap” (as Yeezy says during one of his rhymes) is everything “H.A.M.” wasn’t — accessible, laid back, catchy, and full of life. This LP has been highly anticipated for awhile, but now we’re officially stoked to hear the whole thing. Watch The Throne drops August 1 and August 5.
