It is sad that someone with so much talent has passed away. I believe that everyone decides to do what they want to do and that is the beauty of life. I ask that we do not judge her life style, that was her life and she decided to live it how she wanted. I ask however that she is recognized for what she spoke to us through her songs. I was not a super fan but i enjoyed her songs they were honest and deep. I think a lot of us pretend to be what the world expects us to be. We should be who in reality we want to be without harming ourselves or others. RIP AMY WINEHOUSE!!!!!!! :(

  2. I don’t think it was a ‘choice’ to live the lifestyle that ultimately killed a beautiful soul like Amy. Addition is a horrible disease that a lot of people just can’t fight. Unless you’ve ever been addicted to something, you truly cannot understand the demons she fought on a daily basis, struggling with the love-hate relationship she had with both drugs and alcohol. It was far from a choice. It grabbed and took her away — and she had no choice.

  3. Wow, she was so incredibly talented! Her demons took over her and now she’s gone. May she rest in peace.

    Well said!

  5. So So sorry to have lost this awesome talent. May GOD rest her soul from the demons so she can use that beautiful voice to sing for the angels. That one album of Amy’s and other jazz tracks I’ve heard had more soul in them than the top 20 females chartting today put together. Was hoping she and/or Lauren were going to come back revolutionize and reenergize this dismal and prefabricated music industry. My heart goes out to her family, the band and musicans who worked magic together in creating the music.

  6. i may not now amy whinehouse alot, but she is talented and im sad that she pased away.

You couldn’t of said it better. Amen. My problem is all the real talent is dying off and what will we be left with. It is going to be a sad day cause all the real talent left except for a hand full are getting to old to perform or just has plan old retired.
