The purple-haired Brit songbird hooked up with Perry’s right-hand producer Dr. Luke for the new song “Domino” — listen to an ultra-brief preview of the track below.

Seriously, if this wasn’t labeled “Jessie J” we’d just assume this was a Teenage Dream leftover. But hey, isn’t that a good thing? That album went to #1 and spawned four — possibly five — chart-topping singles. Could be a good plan after all!

It actually sounds quite a bit like Lady Perry. I can imagine this was a song that just didn’t make her album at all and Dr. Luke passed it along. As you said, that’s not always a BAD thing. Katy has delivered pure fire this album campaign so it was only a matter of time before swagger jagger’s popped up!

The only reason there is a comparison is because the songs sound similar… not vocals.
It’s a shame that her album didn’t make it. It is a very good album and her vocals are amazing. She sounds exactly the same live, if not even better. Shame that some people don’t appreciate true talent.
