Beyonce To Perform “4 Intimate Nights” In New York City
After an attempt at being the next Martin Scorsese with her “Party”-directing gig, Beyonce is getting back to what she does best — bringing the house down during a live performance. The “Jay-Z groupie” will give lucky Bey-lovers a taste of the best thing they never had by performing her entire album 4 a grand total of four — count ’em, four — times in her “4 Intimate Nights With Beyonce” concert at the Roseland Ballroom in New York City. (Kind of a sexy title, right? Should Jay-Z be worried?) Performing her latest LP in its entirety only goes to reinforce Beyonce’s focus on the full album rather than hit singles. Citi® card users will get the first shot at presale on Wednesday at noon, while everyone else can get tickets an hour later through Ticketmaster. The concert dates are August 14, 16, 18, and 19. Given her love of the number four, we are expecting to see four costume changes, four backup dancers — and really hoping Bey lets more than four people into the show.
