What, you didn’t get enough pop-infused self empowerment over the past year from Pink’s “Raise Your Glass,” Taylor Swift’s “Mean,” Katy Perry’s “Firework,” Ke$ha’s “We Are Who We Are,” Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way” and Selena Gomez & The Scene’s “Who Says”? Well, then, by all means — have at Jessie J’s “Who’s Laughing Now” video, folks, and let your spirits soar! In the visual for the Parker and James /The Invisible Men co-produced “Who’s Laughing Now,” we see a tweenage Jessie being bullied and taunted by a pack of mean girls in school, while her apathetic teacher (played by modern day Jessie) snoozes at her desk.

Eventually, the young popstress-to-be finds her groove, sasses her hot mess of a lunch lady in the school cafeteria (also portrayed by Ms. J) and hoses down her tormenters with a fire extinguisher.

Surely it was all this easy to put bullies in their place when you were in school, right?

“Who’s Laughing Now” is the fourth single to be released off the currently-on-crutches singer’s debut LP Who You Are.
