Lady Antebellum have followed up their Top 10 spring release “Just A Kiss” with late summer offering “We Owned The Night,” the second single off the Grammy-winning trio’s forthcoming album Own The Night (out September 13). And once again, the country act serves up a pop-crossover jam that should appeal to a variety of listeners, and will no doubt find a home on an array of radio format playlists. Listen below. First of all, why is it that every time we hear a Lady A song for the first time, we feel like we’re 22, reckless and newly-in-love all over again?

“We woke under a blanket, all tangled up in skin / not knowin’ in that moment we’d never speak again / but it was perfect, I never will forget when we owned the night,” Charles Kelley, who takes lead vocals this time around, sings on the spirited tune while Dave Haywood and Hillary Scott weave in their harmonies.

Seems there’s a running theme with one night stands this week.

Are you excited for Lady Antebellum’s upcoming third LP after hearing “Just A Kiss” and “We Owned The Night”?
