Nearly two weeks ago, Gavin DeGraw was both assaulted and hit by a taxi cab in Manhattan after leaving a bar. And while he was scheduled to be touring around the States with Maroon 5 and Train, the 34-year-old singer has now found himself at home in New York, recovering from his attack after being released from the hospital.
“I’m feeling much better, but it will take a little bit more time to be back to 100%! I’m overwhelmed with the outpouring of support from my fans, friends, and family. I can’t wait to get back out on tour and look forward to seeing you on the road sometime soon. I’ll keep you POSTED,” Gavin told VH1.
Meanwhile, Mjsbigblog published an item today noting that DeGraw may be hitting the road in October and November with 2008 American Idol winner David Cook.
Gavin’s fourth studio album Sweeter is due out September 20 via J Records.
