The video for the rapper’s “How To Love”, the third single off Tha Carter IV, follows a young woman who has to pay for the mistakes her mother made even before she was born. The troubled female struggles through a life of neglect, abuse, stripping, prostitution, and contracting HIV. Watch the heavy Chris Robinson-directed video below.
Giving us somewhat of a break, narrator Weezy takes us back to the beginning and shows us what could have been, had different choices been made.

This has a really deep meaning. The video is great!
The message of this video is deep and I hope many people will see it!
So, I am NOT a fan of Lil Wayne at all….and I’m shocked that I’m actually saying this…..but this video was beautiful! It is refreshing to see a music video stressing the importance of wholesome, loving, and supportive relationships……not just immediate gratification! Not what I was expecting from Weezy at all! BRAVO!
