Train jumper JoJo sings of a relationship that’s been derailed in her latest single “Disaster”. The stylish songbird announced the single’s release (along with a game of “Twitter karaoke“) earlier today. The song from her upcoming third studio album is quite the departure from dancy Robyn-esque “The Other Chick”. And the ballad is clearly a far more mature look at breakups than “Leave (Get Out)”. Jump below for a listen and tell us what you think: disastrous or divine?
Feel the fire cuz it’s all around and it’s burning
For forever and always
We gotta let it go the other be on our way
Look for another day, cuz it ain’t the same my baby
Whatch it all fall too the ground
No happy ever after, just disaster
Alright, fess up — who broke JoJo’s heart?

On first listen, it reminds me of the first time I heard Jordin Sparks “Battlefield”…great song and this could fill a gap on the radio that Shontelle seems to fill every so often.
I love it!!!!! Genuine, passionate, powerful. So proud of you, JoJo!
