MTV News reports that T.I. (real name: Clifford Harris, Jr.) will be a hip hop king un-caged tomorrow. Sources told the site that the “Castle Walls” MC will be released from Georgia’s Forrest City Correctional Facility on Wednesday (August 31) to a halfway house. UPDATE: Hip Hop Wired quotes the rapper’s longtime lawyer as saying there are currently no plans yet for T.I.’s early release. Last October, T.I. was sentenced to 11 months in prison after being busted nearly a year ago while driving in the West Hollywood area of Los Angeles with marijuana, ecstasy and codeine in his possession — a clear violation of his parole. The rapper’s new release date is a full month ahead of when he was originally to be set free.
