If that Hayley Williams cover of “The Rainbow Connection” from The Green Album wasn’t really enough to satiate your Paramore needs, you’ll be amped to know the band finally unveiled its first proper follow-up to “Monster” last night at New York’s Terminal 5.  Head below to watch the recent Teen Choice winners debut “Renegade” at a gig celebrating their label Fueled By Ramen’s 15th anniversary. “This next song we have never, ever, ever played before,” Williams said while introducing their new jam. She also added, “This song, we will be putting online for your to have as soon as possible, as soon as we can. We’re working on it. It’s called ‘Renegade’.”

While tearing through a near-flawless first performance of the tune (Hayley struggled a bit with the high notes), Williams sang, “Well this spark never lit up a fire, though it tried and tried and tried / the wind came through your lungs, a hurricane from your tongue.”

Sounds like classic Paramore to us. What do you think of “Renegade”?
