While some had declared that we were going to experience a Summer Of Sax with regards to pop music, it actually turned out to be a Summer Of Whistling. But just in case you didn’t get enough of a high-pitched chirp fix from Britney Spears’ “I Wanna Go,” OneRepublic’s “Good Life,” Foster The People’s “Pumped Up Kicks” and Maroon 5 and Christina Aguilera’s “Moves Like Jagger,” Enrique Iglesias has offered up his Pitbull-assisted whistle jam “I Like How It Feels.” Wet your lips below.
Enrique’s new RedOne-produced song has all the musical makings of an anthem, while the singer himself actually packs more of a soulful, emotional punch with his vocals than we’ve heard on recent singles like “Dirty Dancer,” “I Like It” and “Tonight (I’m Lovin’ You).”
“I like how it feels / so just turn it up, let me go, I’m alive, yes you know, never stop, give me more, more, more,” the Latin heartthrob croons on the chorus.
“I Like How It Feels” will feature on a repackaged version of Iglesias’ album Euphoria (out in November), along with a Jennifer Lopez duet titled “Mouth2Mouth.”
