When Lady Gaga called in to On Air With Ryan Seacrest today to promote her gig at tomorrow’s iHeartRadio Music Festival , she dropped a few monster-sized bombshells on the American Idol host. “All I will say is there may be a surprise duet with someone that is also performing,” Mother Monster noted. (Saturday’s lineup at the Vegas event includes, among others, Nicki Minaj, Usher and Jennifer Lopez, whose album Love? Gaga wrote songs for.) She also said she’s been working on her Born This Way follow-up.
“I’m actually already working on my next album,” said Gaga. “So I’ve been working on that. I’ve been planning the next tour. Which keeps me very excited and busy because I have lots of new ideas, and I know exactly how I want it to look. I’m also planning my next music video. I have lots of thing to do, but in truth, I feel like I’m the most alive when I’m on stage.”
For those keep track, Lady Gaga has released four singles off her current album, the most recent being “You And I.” One would assume that when she refers to her next music video, it’s for the fifth Born This Way single.
As for her big performance tomorrow night, which will close out the two-day iHeartRadio fest, The Lady told Seacrest, “Well, I actually designed the stage especially just for this one performance. So it will never be used again. And I put a lot of time and thought into it. It’s really innovative and exciting. It’s going to be very fun.”
Anyone want to put money on the duet being with Jo Calderone (who technically is on the bill)?

OH MY GID!!!!! A NEW ALBUM!!!! Ahhh!!!!!! Cannot wait now. Her music is off the chain amazing. A true talent. Not gonna lie a tad bit excited cause I want her to lay down some hits. Born This Way is good but she can do sooo much better. Luckily I’m not tired of BTW just yet so I’ll have enough to keep me busy for a while. :)

i cant wait to see how much her next album will bomb. how many number one hits did btw have? and without the amazon promotion, it’ll be tepid at best.
born this way sold 5 million copies…….and had one HUGE number one hit that broke about 20 records world wide, and with every single after reaching the top ten and 3…………………that’s successful so i don’t know what your talking about. Albums cost more than singles even with that 99cents deal. For example, Britney has not had more number ones than Katy perry or Rihanna, but her album sales are at heights beyond them and has a greater net worth than them…..Look at Beyonce’s album 4, great album sales and no number one or even a top 10 for that matter. Having number one singles is not everything. I’d rather sell 10 million albums then have 10 number 1s..

there weren’t any number 1s but all of her songs charted well and born this way achieved record sales in a great number of countries. and as evidenced by the fame monster she can do better than BTW, so i think she will be fine
it would have sold just as much ,just because the music is more expensive doesnt put people off to buying it remeber born this way was still the fastest selling single in itunes history at regular $1.29 price if fans love the music they will buy no matter the cost
i also think she could have done better but BTW is still a very well written album the songs are still catchy and fun but i think it doesnt have a comical theme and metaphoric ring like the fame and the fame monster but some of the songs do take government hooker it makes fun of censorship in the midst of government prostitution it also ties into the idea that everything is for sale classic gaga true she can do better nut BTW is in no way a flop
