Big changes are coming to the Nets next year, not the least of which is the basketball team’s relocation from New Jersey to Brooklyn. Their new home turf, the Barclays Center, is under construction (with a $4.9 billion price tag), and today Nets co-owner Jay-Z announced at a press conference that he’ll kick off the opening of the arena and the 2012-2013 season by performing “maybe one, maybe two, maybe three” concerts there next September. He later added, “Definitely more than one.” And just think, there will be at least one more Jay-Z fan in the world by the time the gigs happen. [Via AP]
