Tony Bennett And Lady Gaga Share A Smooch In “The Lady Is A Tramp” Video
After last week’s short tease, Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga’s full video for “The Lady Is A Tramp” has finally premiered. Much like Bennett and Amy Winehouse’s clip for “Body And Soul,” this one offers up a simple setting — the two artists are in a recording studio together, delivering their lines in classy attire. But leave it to Mother Monster to play it up by bouncing from her microphone to Tony’s, employing hand-gesture theatrics and, in a final cute moment, planting a kiss on Bennett’s cheek. “The Lady Is A Tramp” is the opening track on Tony’s Duets II LP, which this week became the first album in the New York singer’s 60-year career to reach #1 on the Billboard Top 200 chart.
