Gwen Stefani
Departed Band/Group: A brief break from No Doubt.
Solo Albums: 2004's Love. Angel. Music. Baby. and 2006's The Sweet Escape
Solo Success: Gwen put her garage band background on the backburner to go pop/dance, and it worked in her favor — both solo albums peaked in the Top 5, and helped keep her fan base happy during No Doubt's hiatus. Personally, we love our Gwen with a bit more bite to her, so the band's new album can't come soon enough. Still, another Stefani solo project would be more than approved by the pop community. / View Original
