Lil Kim has released a new track called “Spend A Mill,” but before we listen to it, let’s take a moment to reflect back on her turbulent career. The Black Friday songstress was once a hip hop powerhouse with such memorable hits as “Ladies Night,” “Lady Marmalade,” and of course, the deliciously nasty “How Many Licks.” After a stint in prison, however, the Dancing With The Stars diva has fallen on hard times, raising petty beef with Nicki Minaj, catching hate from Biggie’s mom, and other such underwhelming shenanigans. Okay, all caught up? Now take a deep breath, prepare to be very much not impressed, and head below to listen.
Even with the above-mentioned misfires, we think “Spend A Mill” might be a new low for Kim, on which she is Auto-Tuned within an inch of her life. Spend a mill? It sounds like she spent, at most, five bucks on this cheap tune.
