The 2011 MTV Europe Music Awards are getting a healthy dose of some mega-watt star power — Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars have been announced as performers for the November 6 awards show, which takes place in Belfast, Ireland. Other acts that will take the stage during the Selena Gomez-hosted event include LMFAO, Coldplay, Snow Patrol, Jessie J, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Jason Derulo. Gaga leads the pack with six nominations, while Mars scored the most noms for a male artist with four.
