We already know Rihanna’s work with Calvin Harris yielded a terrific lead single and a gritty, artistically-inspired video in “We Found Love,” both of which are more successful than her last few offerings from LOUD (to our eyes and ears, anyway). So we’re pumped to see what the David LaChappelle plagiarist has in store on the rest of Talk That Talk — and delighted to learn that RiRi may have enlisted the help of ASCAP Songwriter of the Year Dr. Luke, who crafted some of the best tracks we’ve heard from Britney Spears, Jessie J, and Katy Perry lately. Find out more below.
Obviously, we’ve been a fan of this hit-maker for quite some time now, since he made our list of Producers Who Made 2010 Go Pop last year. Rihanna teaming up with Dr. Luke is absolutely the right move on this new album.
So does Dr. Luke’s tweet to Rihanna: “damn… you sound so good!!!!” confirm that the two have hit the studio? Not exactly — but it’s a good sign! For now, it’s little more than wishful thinking, but we certainly hope this is a tease of great things to come!

Oh yes now I remember why I don’t come to this site!!!! The blogger is a dumbass!!
it took you long enough for you to comment on the article. if you hate the site that much you wouldn’t have gotten passed the home page.
For a minute there I thought Rihanna f*cked that guy out for the new LP.
“How I Roll” is one of the few songs on Britney’s Femme Fatale that Dr. Luke (and/or Max Martin) didn’t produce. I’m fine with Rihanna working with Dr. Luke, but if we want something similarly unique (I know, oxymoron) from Rihanna…she’s not going to get it with him.
Dr. Luke makes hits, but all of his songs sound very similar. I think Britney and Katy wouldnt have had hits without the producing genius of Dr. Luke and Max Martin working on their albums.
