Rihanna Hospitalized In Sweden
This is not a trick nor a treat — Rihanna was rushed to the hospital while on tour in Sweden today, according to TMZ. A Live Nation rep has announced that her concert tonight in the city of Malmö has been canceled, as the singer is “not in condition to conduct the concert.”
Though no reason has been given for Rihanna’s hospital visit, the singer was well enough to tweet a photo of her arm hooked up to an IV drip. “Sorry Malmo!!!” she said to her fans.
UPDATE: Rihanna has release a statement, blaming the flu for her hospitalization. “I am sorry to everyone who was coming out to my show in Malmo Switzerland,” she said. “I was so excited to perform for you all. It would have been a great time…so much better than being sick with the flu, ugh! I’m really disappointed I couldn’t be there.”
We’ll assume she’s so sick she didn’t realize Malmö is in Sweden, not Switzerland. Feel better soon, RiRi!
