Michael Jackson has posthumously received his own Cirque Du Soleil show, and he may soon get his own Hollywood movie. Variety reports that the Jackson estate has approached the Montecito Picture Company about producing and financing a biopic of the King Of Pop, focusing only certain periods of the star’s life. (So, we’re safe to assume there won’t be any focus on those child molestation allegations or the other inflammatory aspects of his private life?)

You may recall that there was already a 1992 TV movie detailing the early life of Michael, along with his brothers, in The Jacksons: An American Dream. Wylie Draper, who played Jackson as an adult, did a pretty great job capturing the King of Pop’s essence:

So far there’s no official deal in place for the big-screen biopic, but can you even think of somebody working today who could embody the look, the voice and the moves of Michael Jackson? Is this Chris Brown’s role to lose?
