Sammy Adams Sets It Off In His “Blow Up” Tour Video

It’s not hard to see why singer/rapper Sammy Adams is ready to blow up into the stratosphere of mainstream pop, but it’s worth remembering that he didn’t just come off the hitmaker assembly line. The Massachusetts native has been perfecting his chops for years, both in the studio (where he crafted infectious party records) and on stage, where he displays an energy that’s proved magnetic to thousands. We’ve got an eye-popping new video reflecting on his performances from the past year, set to his brand-new jam.

The video follows Sammy through a series of performances, from buck-wild club outings (like his Idolator show on the Sunset Strip last year), college stops and sprawling outdoor festival gigs. (Watch for his “I Hate College” t-shirt, a nod to his 2009 viral remix of Asher Roth’s “I Love College”.)

You don’t see that kind of fandom every day — and we’re expecting the Boston Boy’s revolution to keep rolling from here. Keep up with Sammy at @sammyadams or his Facebook page, and — if you’ve seen him live yourself — let us know what you think of his performance skills below.
