And it’s already insane. Watch the first minute and 48 seconds of Gaga’s “Marry The Night” video below, and let’s discuss:

Lady Gaga – “Marry The Night: The Prelude Pathétique”

“When I look back on my life, it’s not that I don’t want to see things exactly as they happened,” starts Gaga, who we see wearing a shaggy, short brown wig as she’s pushed on a stretcher. “It’s just that I prefer to remember them in an artistic way. And truthfully, the lie of it all is much more honest, because I invented it.”

“It’s not that I’ve been dishonest,” she continues, speaking as though she’s giving a director’s commentary on her own video. “It’s just that I loathe reality.” She goes on to point out that the nurses, as well as herself, are wearing next season Calvin Klein fashions, and that the nurses’ gauze caps are tipped to the side because “I think it’s romantic.”

Gaga then points out one of the nurse’s asses (“Bam.”) before pointing out that one of the patients previously requested Gummi Bears and a knife. “They only gave her the Gummi Bears. I wish they had only given me the Gummi Bears.”

And this is just the very beginning of Gaga’s longest video yet — she says the full prologue (not the video, mind you, but just the prologue) is seven minutes and 33 seconds (and 15 frames).

Okay, tell us folks — what the heck is going on here?! And how will a giant Hefty bag of a hat fit into all of it? Leave your best guesses below.
