During last night’s American Music Awards, will.i.am and Jennifer Lopez premiered their new collaborative single “T.H.E.”, which serves as the first offering from the Black Eyed Peas member’s upcoming solo LP #willpower. Of course, you may have been too dazzled by the colorful glow-in-the-dark theatrics — particularly those involving J.Lo’s curve-accentuating outfit — to pay much mind to the song. But it’s available on iTunes now, and you can give a listen to the recorded single version below. “T.H.E.”, which stands for “The Hardest Ever”, features rapper/producer/music mogul will.i.am making several references to, er, being stiff (the most provocative lyrics detail morning wood, giving it to you harder and going “hard like a motherf*cking boner”).

We’re just kind of transfixed bow how ably J.Lo morphs into complete Fergie mode here. Not to mention the fact that Mick Jagger appears on the song.

Will explained to Rolling Stone that Jimmy Iovine came out of production retirement just to produce his hero Mick’s featured vocals on “T.H.E.”:

“He produced Mick’s vocals, and this was the proudest moment of my life. Winning a Grammy is cool, but the guy who helped you out – and then you got to see him execute one of his dreams – that’s just the dopest ever.”
