There’s no denying that Nicole Scherzinger is more than pretty – just look at these photos and tell us she’s not gorgeous. But her new song “Pretty” that she debuted on The X Factor last night? Well, it’s got a nice personality!
Nicole’s song, which will appear on the US release of her Killer Love album, is about a man unable to see past her beauty and discover that she’s more than just a pretty face. An interesting song idea – and maybe one personal to Scherzy – but the beginning feels much too low for her. (Is this a trend now that female pop stars start their X Factor performances way too low for their voice?) There are some nice moments in the song, but ultimately, do we need Nicole reminding us how attractive she is?
For the record though, it’s not hard to see that Nicole is more than just pretty – not everyone can effortlessly knock out “The Phantom Of The Opera” live on stage.

I love her new single. I hope this song charts well.
The single is alright. As for the Phantom performance, it was really good, however, the last big notes were all lip synched, which makes it somewhat less impressive.

She sang everything live. The other two phantoms tweeted that she sang everything live and blew their minds even though she was sick. Besides, Nicole isn’t a fan of lip syncing. She has hit higher notes live before while singing live.
