Some of Adam Lambert’s diehard fans probably know the singer better than he knows himself. So they know that when Adam releases a new single, he puts his heart and soul into it. And that certainly is evident in “Better Than I Know Myself,” the lead single from 2012′s Trespassing, which we heard a preview of earlier this week. “I can be obnoxious sometimes,” the new Queen frontman sings on the track. (Adam, we beg to differ!) Either way, there’s nothing obnoxious about the fact that we can now hear the power ballad in full — and it skews more toward sex music than party music, we think. Gah his voice is so beautiful! LOVE LOVE LOVE when he sings “I know it gets hard sometimes, but I could never, leave your side no matter what I say” it totes ramps me right up into belting the chorus along with him. Fun!
Love the synth-iness and backbeat, the production kinda reminds me of a couple of the tracks from Rihanna’s latest album.

I thought Grenade & Beautiful Girls was boring, generic with silly lyrics & look at the airplay those songs got. This is much better – catchy hook, gorgeous vocals and decent lyrics. There’s no reason for radio not to play it as much as those other songs.

Love the way he tells the story with this song. Killer vocals and great production…fingers crossed that we will hear this on the radio soon and can’t wait to buy a HQ copy on Tuesday.

Don’t get me wrong. I love Adam. Loved FYE (which should have had a couple of more singles released by the way).
I like the “Peter Cetera” notes he hits as Pharrell stated. I am going to buy the cd though.
I don’t know, sort of on the fence for this one. Maybe I have to hear it blasting on my car radio while driving through rush hour – always the best time to listen to pop rock.

Pure POP Perfection! The vocals are outstanding, love the harmonies and the bridge. I hear a slight R&B influence in Adam’s vocal that I really like. The production on this is stellar.

Vocals – perfection as always. It’s catchy. My problem is that I picture somebody saying to me “If I wanted to leave I would have left by now” and I picture myself giving that somebody the finger – I don’t feel love from that, more like a kind of “I’m stuck with you” sort of thing. I do hope for the best, I think there’s a lot riding on this for him, but it could be better.
