Miike Snow, the Swedish electropop group made up of Andrew Wyatt, Christian Karlsson and Pontus Winnberg (a.k.a the producing duo Bloodshy & Avant of Britney Spears’ “How I Roll” and “Toxic”), has a new album, Happy To You, underway for 2012. The disc’s March 27 release date comes as joyous news to fans of the trio’s 2009 self-titled LP — and that includes us. And we were equally pleased to check out the short-film preview of the band’s new track “Devil’s Work”. Watch it below.

Building on Miike Snow’s signature sound (and for those of you unfamiliar with the Swede’s previous work, we suggest diving in with “Animal”, then moving on to Sky Ferreira’s cover), Happy To You will also feature full orchestras, brass sections and — brace yourselves — marching bands. Sounds like a no-brainer for full-on aural delight.

“Before this album, we were an idea. This time we were a band,” Pontus said, explaining the band’s evolution. “And this time, we had paid our dues — we’d toured in 27 countries for 18 months. When we came in to make Happy To You, we came in as a unit, and emotionally for us that makes a huge difference. And hopefully you can hear it.”

“Devil’s Work” reminds us a bit of “A Horse Is Not A Home” — with the added warmth of horns. Check it out in the preview below.
