No one has to tell us that Cee Lo Green is one of the most industrious artists in pop, though we appreciate The New York Times detailing exactly how the The Voice coach will make $20 million this year. Two other interesting bits from the paper’s new profile jump out: Cee Lo will take part in a new reality show called Cee Lo Takes The UK, and the singer is also headed to cool-off spot Las Vegas with theatrical show Loberace, which, unless we’re completely off mark, is a play on Green’s name as well as that of legendary piano man Liberace. More details below.

Cee Lo’s UK show will detail his old band Goodie Mob’s reunion and recording of a new album in London, where he’ll “soak up the local customs”, according to the Times article. The show is produced by longtime TV heavyweight Mark Burnett (also the mastermind behind The Voice). Cee Lo “has a very strong brand, an unusual look and a great sense of fun,” Burnett said. (Burnett first signed Cee Lo for The Voice after catching his Saturday Night Live performance. “It’s a sense of theatrical, big-scale fun. It’s not just singing. It’s a real show with Cee Lo.” We’ll be curious to see how the Lady Killer takes his show on the road.
