The last time Rihanna, Jay-Z and Kanye West teamed up together on a recording was for Hova’s 2009 hit “Run This Town”. So is this trio set for a musical reunion? Reports are flying around online (via an Australian Music Report mention) that Kanye will be joining his fellow Pop & Fizz-ranked pal RiRi on the single remix for her collab with Jay-Z, “Talk That Talk” — i.e. the title track off her latest album. Kanye’s added rap helped Katy Perry’s “E.T.” become the third-biggest download of 2011. Can the all night tweeter assist Rihanna with pulling off a similar feat this year?
Katy nor Rihanna do not need to rely on the talent of rappers to get a sure-fire hit. Talk That Talk could absolutely be a Top 10 hit and if she desires that #1, release the remix with Kanye and the rest but not as a single.
