Sky Ferreira took a break from reworking her sound with producers Paul Epworth and Jon Brion to pay homage to Madonna in V Magazine. For the mag’s upcoming Music Issue, “L.A.’s Lolita” posed for photographer Mario Testino dressed as the Material Girl right out of the 80s and 90s. Decked out in “Boy Toy” belts, “Like A Virgin”-style bridal gowns and that commanding “Justify My Love”-era hat, the bewitching songstress looks almost identical to her pop queen inspiration. I would have to agree with TruthBeTold here. Madonna is an icon and will always be remembered for her legacy. She was and still is a very talented Singer/Songwriter/Director/Actress, and the list goes on.
