Lovebirds Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa first revealed that they’ve been collaborating together on music last year while on the MTV VMAs black carpet. And you can all breathe easy, for the first fruit of their labor has now emerged — the synthy electro jam “Fame”. No, it’s not a David Bowie or Irene Cara cover. (Though, can you imagine?) Thematically, it plays more like Amber’s take on Fergie’s 2007 hit “Glamorous”. Hear all about the the glitzy life below. Amber sings about the ups and downs of being an overnight sensation — riding high on private jets, having your name plastered “all around the world,” etc. And if anyone should know about that jazz, it’s Kanye’s ex/Wiz’s squeeze.

And speaking of the “Black And Yellow” MC, he adds this rap: “Now you’re bustin’ out, doin’ your thing, in your face, cuss them out / braggers, your the one that they fuss about, you’s a bad little mother, shut your mouth.”

Really, this territory has been musically covered, in varying degrees, by everyone from Lady Gaga to Paris Hilton in recent years. But try as we might, we can’t shake the notion that there’s something charming about Amber’s first stab at a music career. Maybe it’s those squiggly synths?

What do you think about the lovey-dovey couple’s new tune “Fame”? Let us know below!
