Apparently all the clatter about Kanye West featuring on a single remix of Rihanna’s next single “Talk That Talk” was just that — a bunch of talk. Or was it? As far as we can tell from the single art, which RiRi tweeted out last night, there’s no mention of her pal Yeezy. Regardless (Ri-gardless?), here’s hoping the Jay-Z-assisted tune fares better on the charts than previous single “You Da One”, which is is currently floundering at the ho-hum position of #22 on the Hot 100.

“You Da One” should have never been a single or at least the 2nd single. It’s too innocuous a tune. I’m disappointed that “Where Have You Been” isn’t the third single because I think it has the potential to be an even bigger international hit than “We Found Love”, but here’s hoping it’s the 4th single with a great vid to boot and that “Cockiness (Love It)” is also a single. Meanwhile, “Talk That Talk”, although not a great song, is still good and will probably be at least a top ten hit in the US considering it features Jay-Z and is somewhat similar to “Rude Boy”.
Going to be hard to follow-up “We Found Love”, even with a verse from Jay-Z
You Da Flop HAHAHAHA
