If Adam Lambert’s fans were anxious to see him back on the promo circuit and getting the word out about his new material, last night’s performance of lead Trespassing single “Better Than I Know Myself” surely proved to be worth the wait. The singer initially teased with a calm and cool delivery of the song before finally segueing to powerhouse vocals on the slick ballad’s chorus at the end. “Scream” happens to be the correct vocal and technical term for the singing of those high notes. You can check with the vocal experts at DDD to learn about it. ;)
It seems that some ppl who don’t like Adam for whatever reason use the word screams in a very negative way to imply he can’t hit the high notes w/o screaming so some Adam fans are just touchy about someone saying he screams. But you are right if scream is used to describe the vocal technique it does apply.
Just pure talent! AMAZING vocals! The notes from the second half – end just melted my heart! This performance reminded me why Adam is my all time favorite singer!

Adam never disappoints but his performances on Leno was impeccable in both his look and his amazing vocals! Adam just keeps getter better and I didn’t even know that was possible. I love the song and ,even more, the way he sings it. Perfection!
I agree with everyone who has commented so far. The only thing else I can add is that to me he’s the best male vocalist I’ve heard in over 40 years. I remember the greats and Adam is at their level if not higher. He can do things with his voice that even classical singers cannot. Many famous classical singers have agreed Adam has an extraordinary voice and they wish they could do what he can. Last night on The Tonight Show he outdid himself once again. He just keeps getting better with age and he hasn’t even started peaking yet. I am so excited about his new album I can’t stand it.

ADAM was PERFECT in his style .. stage presence .. AND .. vocals last night on Leno’s Tonight Show!! I only wish they had given him more than two minutes on the stage. Did we really have to hear about Sherri Shephard’s ‘wigs’? I hope the next time ADAM appears on the show he will be given a lot more time … which he truly deserves. ADAM is a Master Artist & should be recognized as such!! FABULOUS PERFORMANCE!!

Love, love, love last night’s performance of BTIKM. Love it when Adam changes it up on his live performance. They never look or sound the same but they all sound unbelievable. Don’t forget to watch him again tomorrow on Ellen performing BTIKM again but with another Adamazing performance.

Completely blown away by both performances of BTIKM on both Leno & Ellen. Adam’s flawless vocals- intimate & intense included his signature breathtaking super high notes. He was awesome and the band sounded great. BTW Adam looked great, stylish & smoking hot as always! BTIKM is my fav new song. I cant wait for for the album, Trespassing to drop on March 20 & hear all of the great new songs!
