We’ve waited years for new music from Fiona Apple, and now there’s a possibility that we’ll only have to wait a few more weeks. “Lots of good music coming from @Epic_Records in the next few weeks,” L.A. Reid tweeted out to his followers. “Stay tuned music fans. Welcome back Fiona! #BeEpic.” We’re wary that Apple would rush out an album announcement and a press tour for the follow-up to her 2005 LP Extraordinary Machine in just a matter of weeks… though she has said her album has “been done for a fucking year”, so she probably just wants it to be released already. I was gearing up with Release Fiona. I had some street teams going, twitter pressure and online promoting to release her fourth album. I wonder if LA Reid was impressed with the twitter storm and boycott threats?
