If you’re planning on scoring a table at Lady Gaga’s parents’ new Italian restaurant on the Upper West Side, Joanne Trattoria, we suggest getting in line now. While the culinary collaboration between Mr. and Mrs. Germanotta and Oprah Winfrey’s former personal chef Art Smith begins taking reservations next month, we have a feeling that getting a seat at the Grandmother and Grandfather Monster’s establishment is going to be quite a chore. Since Joanne’s menu is not yet available online, we can only speculate that entrees will include: MTV VMAs Beef Dress Tartar, Spaghetti With Monster Meatballs and Papa-pappardelle.

Think Joanne Trattoria is going to be the a Gaga-only version of the Hard Rock Cafe? Well, we hate to break it to you, but Papa Germonatta shared, “If they’re expecting to come in here and see Grammys and pictures and stuff like that, it’s not going to happen.” We know the cozy Southern Italian eatery is named for Gaga’s late aunt, but we can’t help be think that “Jo Calderone’s” sounds much more like the intimate Italian place on New York’s Upper West Side.
