Luck was on Lady Antebellum’s side when it came time for this year’s Academy Of Country Music Awards nominees to be announced. The band scored six nods, thanks to their LP Own The Night (up for Album Of The Year) and radio smash “Just A Kiss” (a Song Of The Year contender). But it’s country gent Kenny Chesney who leads all his peers with nine nominations. The ceremony, which is to be hosted by Voice coach Blake Shelton and Rebe McEntire, will be broadcast live from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on April 1.
