Adam Lambert revealed the behind-the-scenes of his new video “Better Than I Know Myself”, and If you’re looking to see the pop star strut in platform boots and adorn himself with snakes, you’re out of luck. “BTIKM” looks to be about as subdued and low-key as his “Whataya Want From Me” video (both clips share a similar location of a sleekly-designed house, too), but for what it may lack in razzle dazzle, it’s sure to make up in pure emotion. Take a sneak peek at Glambert’s newest clip below.

“I definitely wanted to take a more hands on role in the video concept and the whole process,” he says. “I think what [director Ray Kay and I] came up with was a nice twist on the song ‘Better Than I Know Myself’.”

“I think when viewers see the video they’ll look at the lyrics a little bit differently than may have first considered them,” he adds.

The full “Better Than I Know Myself” video drops Monday on VEVO. Adam’s sophomore album Trespassing will be released on March 20 in the US.
