Avril Lavigne was spotted leaving Koi restaurant in West Hollywood last night. Now, what the pop punkette wore and what she ate were far less exciting to us than who the Canadian chanteuse was seen leaving with: ex-boyfriend Brody Jenner. What the hell? When reports surfaced earlier this month that the celeb couple had called it quits, we pondered what would become of their complementary tattoos. Perhaps, the amicable breakup is still that and Brody was simply giving the X Factor performer a proper sendoff before her Black Star Japan tour or maybe there’s hope yet for these two kids. i never even knew they broke up
I’m probably one of Avril’s #1 fans, but I honestly don’t think Brody suits her. She’s talented and beautiful, and let’s be honest, Brody is just a guy. He doesn’t sing or act or anything. Plus he’s dated a lot of other celebrities, and they all seemed like they would be genuine relationships, but were not. Brody goes through his women like he goes through bathroom tissue, but Avril’s not like that. She was a faithful wife to Deryck, and is still faithful to him as a friend. I hope they don’t rekindle and Avril finds someone better. I would love it if she and Deryck got back together again!
I too am an avid Avril fan, but I disagree completely. I think her and Brody are/were a fantastic couple. Who cares if Brody is “just a guy” ? Does it matter if he doesn’t sing or act ? Why in the world does that even matter! Sure, Brody dates around a lot but when he’s in a relationship, he’s committed and loving. Avril and Deryck were cute too, but they got DIVORCED for a reason…
