As her song “Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You)” heats up the Hot 100, Kelly Clarkson has her sights set on her next single. According to Kelly-Clarkson.net, the pop star’s next single off her album Stronger will be uptempo tune “I Forgive You”. Kelly made the announcement at a recent concert in Johnstown, Pennyslvania, and after blasting ex-beaus and Mr. Know It Alls, it’s nice to hear the singer not hold a grudge against a former flame. UPDATE: We’re hearing that Kelly most likely said no such thing at that particular concert in regards to her third single, though a fan claims the singer told him “Dark Side” would be her next single. So basically… we’ll just have to wait til we hear it straight from Kelly!
What Stronger song would you like to see become an official single?
I think it’s a good song for radio. Personally, I would have loved to see Dark Side released, but I suspect that there will be room for a 4th single after I Forgive You :) You Love Me could also work well as a later single.
You Love Me and Let Me Down are better songs imo, but this could do well on radio, i hope so! Cause i kind of feel like Stronger is an underrated album

I agree with D that “I Forgive You” is very radio friendly, and I think it works as a catchy, uptempo single to keep the steam generated by “Stronger.” I also agree that “Dark Side” would be a perfect mid-tempo follow-up. Great music all around!!

I so agree with this!! I love I Forgive You!! It’s perfect for radio and I can see this song doing well into late spring early summer!!! If i was her I would wait till late April early May to release it..I think What Doesn’t Kill You will be around for a while..Then as a 4th I would love if she released Alone!!! or Breaking Your Own Heart…

Good choice for sure. When I first listened her new the album, this song definitely struck me as single-worthy. New lyrical content for Mrs. Kelly too (as far as singles go). She’s usually ready to stab a bitch, but now we get to see her forgiving… :)
I love this choice, but supposedly the rumors are FALSE!! Kelly never confirmed this at her show like people are saying!! Read kelly-clarkson.net now, they’ve retracted that statement.
Rumors now are that Kelly told a fan at her last M&G that Dark Side is the next single. Either one is a great choice.
