Sales are through the roof for Lana Del Rey’s debut LP Born To Die in the UK, and what better way for the divisive singer to round out her successful promo campaign than by appear on the cover of the British edition of fashion bible Vogue? As the world knows by now, the full-lipped songstress, born Lizzy Grant, opted for a stage name for her showbiz career. “I wanted a name I could shape the music towards,” she says in her March cover story. “I was going to Miami quite a lot at the time, speaking a lot of Spanish with my friends from Cuba — Lana Del Rey reminded us of the glamour of the seaside. It sounded gorgeous coming off the tip of the tongue.”

What do you think of her Vogue cover, Lana fans? Is it equally as gorgeous?
