Will Janet Jackson Join ‘The X Factor’ As A Judge?

After the double firings of Paula Abdul and Nicole Sherzinger, Simon Cowell is ready to revamp his U.S. entourage for The X Factor, and he’s looking for some A-list artists to fill the surprisingly vacant judges’ panel. Janet Jackson is reportedly in preliminary talks with the music mogul for a spot on the show, though she’s keeping coy on the subject for now. “No. I am not a judge on the X Factor,” the singer told Anderson Cooper on his daytime talk show Anderson. “That’s all I really should say.” Simon announced that before her tragic death, he and Whitney Houston were close to a deal for her to become a judge.
