After some speculation that this was the case, now it’s official — “Dark Side” will be Kelly Clarkson’s next single off of Stronger, following “Mr. Know It All” and the title track. This tidbit was confirmed by MTV News Canada, who spoke to the star of the not-so-fresh From Justin To Kelly about the news. In summation: does Kelly have a concept in mind for the video? Yep! Will she tell us what it is? Nope! (Big sigh.) We’d complain that the suspense is killing us — but that will only make us stronger, apparently. Watch the interview below.

I think Dark Side is a very smart choice. it’s like part-ballad part-anthem and has a huge hook, not to mention it’s very relate-able and Kelly’s vocals are amazing on it. It should do really well.
