Some of the most dance-pop savvy of us have been digging Dragonette for awhile, but it wasn’t until last year’s collaboration with Martin Solveig on “Hello” (one of PopJustice’s faves of 2011, and rightly so) that the Toronto trio started getting some major play in the United States. In 2012, Dragonette aims to capitalize on that with their third studio album and appearances at a couple little festivals called Coachella and SXSW. Produced by Felix Blowxsom, “The Right Woman” is the first of two tracks that will be released this month (the official lead single “Let It Go” is coming soon). Hear how it holds up to “Hello” below.

A worthy follow-up to “Hello,” Dragonette continues to be our darling to enjoy the party with “The Right Woman,” which keeps the lush vocals and upbeat vibe of 2009’s Fixing To Thrill while pushing them in a slightly less poppy, slightly more electronic direction.
