Attention all Lady Gaga lookalikes with acting aspirations: a biopic on Mother Monster is reported to be in the works, and the producers apparently want a total unknown to play her. An unnamed source talked to Life & Style about Gaga’s thoughts on the possible upcoming movie on her life, Fame Monster: The Lady Gaga Story: “She’s furious. She’s cringing at the thought of her life being exposed on television.” Yikes! This comes right after unearthed pics of the singer before she was famous hit the Internet. The source continues, “Gaga doesn’t want it getting out because it will portray her as insecure and needy… [she] wants to be seen as powerful and strong.”

Frankly, we’ll believe this when we see it. That said, there is one interesting tidbit, which is that screenwriter Norman Snider is said by Life & Style to be whipping up the script. Two of his previous credits: ’80s horror flick Dead Ringers and 2004 Jamie Lynn-Sigler-starring TV movie Call Me: The Rise And Fall Of Heidi Fleiss.

This is almost as sexy as Glitter scribe Kate Lanier writing the TLC biopic. Almost.
