This week, Madonna unleashed a flurry of new songs, chanting, violence and ABBA-ness included. Singer turned reality-show talent scout Kelly Clarkson revealed that “Dark Side” will be the next single off Stronger, and Rihanna gave everyone a big thrill when she tweeted a topless picture of herself from her “Where Have You Been” video shoot. See what our readers had to say about all of this after the jump.

:: Gerry was not been impressed by Madonna’s new song, “I’m Addicted”, and gave some advice to the Queen of Pop: “Madonna, there comes a time in every artist’s career where they need to retire. Considering your age, retirement is what you need to get into, not cheerleader panties!!”

:: MJforever likes the beat to the song, but wonders if it will get any airplay: “It sounds like a blend of disco (a la Confessions on a Dance Floor) and mainstream electronic music. It could work (mainly because Madonna can get away with anything), but I don’t think it will be a (official) single.”

:: Danii Luo can’t wait for the remixes to come out: “This should be a b-side to Girls Gone Wild. Just for the purpose of utilizing a Benassi production to the maximum. It’s dark electro pop and club friendly. If mixxes are to be done, they would be sooo amazing!”

:: debbie seemed excited when she read that Kelly Clarkson’s new single would be “Dark Side”: “her vocals in that song are just uhhhh! so pretty. This song is just perfect.”

:: Fan4me explained why they thought “Dark Side” was an excellent choice for Kelly’s next single: “It’s like part-ballad part-anthem and has a huge hook, not to mention it’s very relate-able and Kelly’s vocals are amazing on it. It should do really well.”

:: Fans like MarkusO are already looking forward to the music video: “YES!!! I was rooting for this, You Love Me, or Let Me Down. I can imagine how good the music video will be! :)”

:: Justin doesn’t have much faith in Rihanna’s next single “Where Have You Been” given her recent track record: “You Da One- Flop. Talk That Talk- Flop. I think she needs to scrap any more singles.”

:: tammy disagrees: “I love this song a lot!!! –but not as much as we found love.”

:: Bixch tried to reason out why Rihanna tweeted that photo of herself sans clothing: “Is Rihanna’s new photo meant to serve as a f*ck you to her father (who has commented on her weight gain in public) and to Chris Brown’s new model beau?”
