See Nicki Minaj On The Set Of Her “Starships” Video In Hawaii (PHOTOS)

March 14th, 2012 // 3 Comments

We can’t think of a better setting for Nicki Minaj’s poppy single “Starships” than the islands of Hawaii — and that’s exactly where the rapper was spotted yesterday on the set of her upcoming video. The Harajuku Barbz revealed via Twitter yesterday that upon her arrival, “kids @ the airport were like: waikikiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!!!!! I bust out laughin”, a reference to her verse in Big Sean’s “Dance (A$$)” remix. (For the record, we would have done the exact same if we saw the Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded artist in Hawaii.) Check out Nicki in action, then tell us below (or on Facebook and Twitter) if you think Azealia Banks would approve of her blonde and green wigs and bright pink outfit.

I was just on Nicki Minaj’s Twitter page and a fan asked her how many tracks on the album?! And Nicki rdeponsed with 22 and wait til you see the t-shirt! So were getting another box type set with 22 songs and a t-shirt ala the 1st album which was sold like this for a limited time at Target! The 1st album I didn’t buy the Target edition with the shirt I opted to go to Best Buy and get their edition which combined the Target bonus songs:Super-Bass, Muny, and Blow Ya Mind, with Wave Ya Hand and Catch Me.So were getting 3 extra songs than the 19 we got for Pink Friday. She did 3-4 songs with Red One and 3 with Dr.Luke. So fans will get a fusion of different music genres ranging from rap to r&B to dance to pop! This album like the 1st one will have something for everyone! The album cover is like Lisa Frank meets Jeffree Star’s Blush single cover/Meets Ke$ha in a acid induced neon paint trip!
