Most EDM enthusiasts were head over glowsticks at Madonna’s surprise appearance at Avicii’s set during Ultra Music Fest over the weekend. But it was one comment in particular from the pop queen that got one of dance music’s biggest DJs raging mad. “How many people in this crowd have seen Molly?”, Madonna said to the raving crowd, referencing a nickname for the drug MDMA (which is also loudly hinted at in the title of her new album MDNA.) The festgoers cheered, but drug-free DJ deadmau5 sure didn’t find her ecstasy-promoting declaration very amusing.
“Very classy there madonna,” deadmau5 wrote on his Facebook wall. “‘HUR DUR HAS ANYONE SEEN MOLLY???’ such a great message for the young music lovers at ultra. quite the f’n philanthropist. but hey, at least yer HIP AND TRENDY! Fucking cant smack my head hard enough right now.”
His expletive-filled rant went on: “Seriously, i giveth not a fucking single FUCK for slating on madonna for reaching an entirely NEW level of idiocy… i can appriciate her meteoric career, and all good deeds done, but WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT? That’s your big contribution to EDM? Thats your big message to ultra attendies? hipsterspeak for looking for drugs? fuck off you fucking IDIOT. fuck.”
He then took to his Tumblr to write a lengthy blog post on the matter, titling it “Responsibility”:
It really hurts me to see rampant ADVOCATION of extreme bullshit lifestyles to a genre that spans pretty much any age gap these days. Of course, ill always have my opinions about this or that… and yeah, its my personal choice not to do drugs, but im not on a fucking crusade to stamp out other peoples personal choices by no means. fuck being a crusader. Im not pro, or anti drug… but… ill easily let you know that im pro-responsibility.
What’s your take on this? Was Madonna being irresponsible by mentioning (and thus, endorsing) drug use? Does it matter that it was one silly throwaway line she said while appearing at a rave where there was unquestionably a ton of drug use already going on? Sound off below. Madonna is an idiot. Pandering to a crowd when you’re, like, 150, doesn’t make you look hip, it makes you look like your millions are starting to run low, and you’re trying to relate so you can sell some of that new album. And did I read that correctly up there? “Drugs are fun”? Jesus, what are you, in high school? And young ppl wonder why no one takes them seriously and fears letting them have any kind of control in society.

This is a little off topic here, but whatever.
I read an article somewhere else the other day about Kris Jenner (mama kardashian) wearing clothes that were too young for her. A lot of the comments on the article said stuff like “she needs to act her age” and “stop begging for attention”.
That’s kind of how I feel about Madonna. I mean, she’s *Madonna* she’s always gonna get attention so why, in her 50′s, does she feel the need to wear next to nothing while she jumps around on stage and make light of drug abuse, espcially after we just lost Whitney to drug abuse.
I just think it’s gross that she acts the way she does. Not that I ever penned Madonna as classy, but regardless. The whole “cougar” thing is kind of played out.

I am a fan of the mau5 but he understands the age gap and who likes his music and he dosnt want younger children to be exposed. to that stipend of thing but him himself was setting a bad example for himself by cussing Madona out so iether way they both did wrong
