A day after Kanye West‘s “Theraflu” rekindled speculation about the nature of his relationship with celebrity divorcee-to-be Kim Kardashian, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star herself appeared on The Today Show to fan the flames just a bit more. Kardashian, who was spotted in New York recently attending a showing of The Hunger Games with ‘Ye, playfully/unhelpfully told Ann Curry that “The movie was really interesting.” The movie “date” came just a few weeks after Kim attended West’s Paris fashion week show. But what did she think of Kanye dropping her name in his new jam?
The celebutante, who briefly flirted with a pop music career herself, said “Kanye and I have been friends for years and you never know what the future holds, or where my life will take me.” (Probably not toward a followup single to “Jam” though, right? Please promise us.) She added: “So… I like the song.”
That’d the be song in which West raps: “I fell in love with Kim around the same time she fell in love with him” before taking a shot at her ex, basketball player Kris Humphries.
Kardashian also spent some time on Today palling around with West’s sometime collaborator (and fellow fashion addict) Nicki Minaj. Kim tweeted: “The ultimate Barbie @nickiminaj & the ultimate doll @kimkardashian hanging @TodayShow!!!”
