Twenty-one years after initially kicking off as a touring extravaganza, and seven years after taking up one-stop residency at Chicago’s Grant Park, Lollapalooza has announced the lineup for its 2012 fest scheduled for the weekend of August 3 – 5. Headliners this year include Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Black Keys, a reunited Black Sabbath and Jack White. (Are you noticing the color theme here?) A bit further down, acts as varied as recent MTV Unplugged star Florence + The Machine, Calvin Harris, Miike Snow, J. Cole, Avicii, Santigold, fun., Dev and Wale fill the roster.
