Hot 100 topper Kimbra played to a packed house at The Troubadour on Tuesday night (Apr. 17) for her first ticketed show in Los Angeles. The recent SNL performer shared that she’d had her sights set on the venue ever since she saw indie rock band As Tall As Lions perform there three and a half years ago while she was recording Vows.
The Kiwi kicked off the evening with “Call Me” and her set included singles “Cameo Lover” and her international debut single “Settle Down”. The “Warrior” collaborator ended the night with two encore offerings: “Samaritan” and “Somebody Please”, which she played on the electric guitar “because this is a special occasion”.
